After obtaining his Fellowship in 1990, Dr Ades worked at the Royal Brisbane Hospital as a Staff Pathologist for two years. He then come to work at QML Pathology as a Senior Associate Pathologist. After nine years with QML Pathology Dr Ades began working as a Partner at IQ Pathology – a specialist histopathology company.

In 2008, he re-joined QML Pathology as a Consultant Histopathologist. Dr Ades continues as a member of the Australiasian Soft Tissue Tumour Registry and the Gastroenterology Society of Queensland.

His special interests include head and neck, endocrine, soft tissue, haematopoietic and gastrointestinal pathology.
